How do I grow hair for skater look? [MALE]?

I have straight black hair just growing for a while, just staight nothing special. What do I have to do to style it a certain way, and get it cut a certain way. I kind of want it to be a skater look. Should I dye it dirty blond with brown highlights or something?How do I grow hair for skater look? [MALE]?
Alright man, i know what you mean, because i have that hair style. Here's how you do it, it may sound wierd, but just do it dude. When you get out of the shower, or whenever you get your hair wet, you have to TRAIN it to go to the side. Not like a comb over, just the hair that hangs over your fore head, just with your fingers kinda slide it over to one side. Then for the wings, you can either wait for your hair to grow a bit, and then everytime your hair is wet, you just get the hair dryer and blow straight up on that part of your hair. Your hair will curl, then you just blow like the sides of your neck, and that will get the back of your hair covered. But you dont want your hair to look slicked back in the back, so use your hands and make sure it doesnt look that way. myspace.com/anythingforjenna. i remember those days. dont dye your hair. see what its naturally like when you grow it out. your hair should curl outwards at the ends like most guys, or it wont but it doesnt really matter. for a ';skater'; look though, the whole thing is not to get all high maintenance so just grow your hair out and stop caring about how.

Go dirty blonde or brown. make sure it looks natural though.


get it layered a little bit and a little flip to the hair is always cute. just go to a salon and tell them you what the skater look (:
well black is fine, for the skater look. a picture would be helpful, but generally you want it layered a little. Just show the hairstylist a picture and they should be able to do it for you
if you want to have skater hair, just cut a little below your ear and brush your hair to a side and have it a little messy. like this picture

Believe it or not if you keep it trimmed every 4-6 weeks, it will grow healthier %26amp; quicker!!
Brown or black hair is best, don't dye it!

stay black and wear a hat for that hat curl thing and ride a skate board and wear skater clothes
wear tight pants, get some beanies, maybe some razor-cut layers in your hair.
