How long to grow hair from shoulders to armpits...?

About how long will this take? Could it be done by September? I can keep my hair healthy. Also, when I get trims every 3-4 months how much should they take off?How long to grow hair from shoulders to armpits...?

When getting it trimmed, make sure to just get the split ends cut off, to keep your hair healthy. Everyone has a different rate of hair growth. On average, it takes 2 years for hair from your roots to grow to your shoulders. Just keep your hair in good shape, using deep conditioner every once in a while if you have dry or damaged hair, trim it to keep it healthy, and try not to mess with it so much! The more you brush or play with your hair, and the harsher weather conditions are, the more split ends you will get and it will take longer for your hair to grow.
yeah ... it will take about 5 months or less depending on how fast your hair grows and if you take good care of it ... use lots of conditioner every time you wash to keep it moisturized and use any kind of oily serum on the split ends to keep them healthy so they don't break off when using any kind of heat appliance on your hair. IE straightener, hairdryer. The kind i use is John Freida Frizz ease .. you can get it at any drugstore , costs at most 15 dollars.


If you take good care of your ends, you wont have to get it trimmed.


But if you have bad split ends it is better to get them cut off. Just tell your stylist you are trying to grow your hair and to only take off what is breaking.
I think it depends on individual growth paterns like if your hair grows faster or slower.... also you should get regular trims and i mean just cutting off the split ends and things like that is essential to promote good hair growth... now if you are a guy im not sure... i would think that just let it grow cuz their hair grows really fast i dunno dont take my word on that one LOL
Everyone's hair grows differently. If you really want the long hair, don't cut it until you have it. Some people's grow faster than other's. Girls hair grow faster than guy's hair. That's why most guy's hair is short. Remember: the hair style might not look good on you as it might have looked on someone else. Make sure the hair style fits you're head shape.
Hair grows at an average pace of 1 inch every 2 months so taking in an estimate of 3 inches from shoulder to armpit i am guessing ... 5 months.


Unless you are very healthy and eat a good diet then i would guess 3 months.

it could be done by sepetember if you keep your hair really healthy and you dont starighten it blow dry or dye it and on your hair cut days never more than an inch or you are cutting off more than you can grow.
if you eat good foods and get vitamins... have daminacins do you hair they put an oil in it that causes it to grow like crazy.. but I think 1/8th inch a month or so..? stress is a factor too
Hmm, I don't know if shoulder hair and armpit hair are so attractive actually.
try hair oil; it really works! put it on at nite before bed and wake up and shampoo it off. usually coconut hair oil works the best but try others to suit ur hair
