it depends on how fast your hair grows. It took me 1 1/2 years for it to grow from really short to half way down my back.How long would it take to grow hair long from short back and sides hairstyle?
Hair grow about 1/2 an inch every month.


But in order for your hair to grow fast and healthy you should:


-eat healthy foods


-get at least 8 hours of sleep at night, if possible.


-brush it before you take a shower and before you go to sleep at night


-try to avoid piling your hair on top of your head when lathering in shampoo or conditioner


-lots of dyes, tints, bleaches, straiteners and perms will weaken your hair and cause breakage and hair loss


and


-try not to wash you hair every single day.

probably a couple of years, my hair is to the middle/lower back n it took about 2 n 1/2 yr to grow from shoulders. although I have had it trimmed a few times. hair on average grows about 1/2 inch a month, but to keep it healthy it will need trimming regularly.
Well it all depends on your hair type and how long it usually takes to grow.
on average hair grows an inch every two months so it depends how long you want it really ;)
