my hair is very thick and curly in layers ending at my shoulders. i get split ends very easily though i don't use anything on my hair but shampoo and conditioner and my hair isn't dry. but i get split ends so eaily and i really want to grow my hair out. what shouold i do to get my hair growing while being able to get rid of the split ends. How to grow hair fast with problems with split ends?
use a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner it would also help if you brushed your hair while you were still in the shower with the conditioner still in it.. you could also try to eat more protein to help you hair get stronger and it would make it grow somewhat faster. you could also try vitamins i know of a hair growth vitamin sold at Walgreen's that is supposed to be really good i hope this helps..How to grow hair fast with problems with split ends?
There is only 2 ways that you could get rid of them.. there are treatments that they sell at salons to protect your hair from everyday life. Even if you do not use curling irons or straightners you will still end up with split ends the only was to treat it is to buy the treatment for it. Go to your hairdresser or local one and ask for the split ends treatment, it helps prevent them. its not pricey either.

also remember when you brush your hair dont only brush the ends.. brush from the root.

The only other way to get rid of them is to chop it off.

Hope to of helped:)
Do a home conditioning cap put really thick conditioner on your hair put a plastic bag over it then take a blow dryer and heat it up ....then when you rinse it rinse in cool to warm water....the heat will open your hair cutilce and let the conditioner in and the cool water will close the haire cuticle to trap in moisture and prevent split ends.
I asked my hairstylist on a similar question like yours. She told me to come in every-so-often to get my hair trimmed. It helps with the split ends. No split ends, faster growing hair. Simple as that. Good luck. Have nice day :)
Try tail n' mane shampoo. I have a friend that used that for a few months, and her hair grew REALLY fast.
