Will the docked tail of my Weimaraner grow hair back on the tip of it's tail?

My weim got her tail docked when she was very young and she is now 6 months old and still has a bald spot on the tip where it has been docked.

No, the hair around the area may grow a little longer to cover it, but what you are seeing is scar tissue. Hair will not grow on the bald spot. The Vet that docked the tail did a poor job. If the tail was docked, making the cut ';in between the vertebrae';, there would have been enough excess skin to cover and stitch properly, instead of just chopping the tail off wherever he felt was the correct length. This is what makes a good docking vs. a poor one. Also, the Dam, herself can play a big part with this. She could have licked the stitches out while stimulating the pup to eliminate, or just plain chewed them out, as this is a foreign body to her pup.Will the docked tail of my Weimaraner grow hair back on the tip of it's tail?
Probably not since it hasn't yet. Bald spots happen a lot with tail docking.
It should grow back. but hair won't grow over scar tissue sometimes
